In the united States, what's your price for gas?

Ours just went up again on the east coast to $3.35. One place is at $3.39. This is getting ridiculous.

For anyone else wondering, it used to be $2.69 on average that was before 2020.

It’s $2.73 for the type with ethanol added to it at the nearby 7-11 store, about $3 for the type without ethanol at the lowest price place around here. Last year the lowest priced non-ethanol gas here was about $1.20 a gallon at it’s very lowest.

@cherokeepatti When you say no ethanol do you mean actual ethanol free premium or e15 that you can burn in any car and with ethanol meaning e85 which requires a flex fuel. I have seen people call regular e15 non-ethanol often enough.

@MethDozer it’s called regular here, premium costs more

@cherokeepatti I was just asking. Here all non-ethanol gas is 91 or 93 premium. 87 and 89 is always e15.

@MethDozer 87 in the US is considered regular, I think 89 is mid grade and premium is 93.

@twiigss yes, I know. 91 also gets marked premium to though. All I was saying is non-ethanol is always a premium grade octane rating around here. There's no 87 or 89 that isn't e15 or e10.

@MethDozer I know here I've heard stuff like, well you want ethanol gas if the car is newer, because newer cars are designed to use or to burn the ethanol gas whereas your older classic cars from the 1950s or the 1960s etc. are going to want to use non-ethanol gas.

I was talking to a coworker about it and they also said about the 91 which I didn't know anything about.
