In the united States, what's your price for gas?

Ours just went up again on the east coast to $3.35. One place is at $3.39. This is getting ridiculous.

For anyone else wondering, it used to be $2.69 on average that was before 2020.

@Elessar what's the conversion to USD and gallons?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@twiigss $7.38/gallon for petrol and $6.71/gallon for diesel, if I've converted everything correctly

@Elessar wow that's bullcrap. Shouldn't be that high imo.

@Elessar I hope you haven’t got confused between Imperial Gallons and US Gallons which are smaller 😂😂😂

@Stereoguy Ah no, here diesel has always been cheaper than gas(oline?) as far as I recall. We drive shorter distances than you guys, on average, I suppose; but yeah, people who drive more are generally going with GPL, LNG (which is what gets called "gas" here), or more recently electric/hybrid afaik

@Stereoguy The main problem with diesel over here is that, especially if you have a older car, there are plenty of places (cities, mid/big sized municipalities) that you aren't allowed to drive through.

Technically also gasoline, but it's usually cars from 15-20+ years ago that are subjected to such limitations.
