@4meAndyou I wasn't impressed with the food in Italy. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't say it was great. The best meal I had in Rome was in a Chinese restaurant about a block from the Trevi fountain. We even went to some mom-and-pop places outside the city and near Venice. France was much better!

@fanuc2013 I had caught the European version of Montezuma's revenge in Andorra, and by the time we drove into Italy from San Marino, I had a dish of plain pasta with a little olive oil and garlic that tasted like heaven to me, after so long without food. But I loved the flavors of Italian food. My mother NEVER cooked Italian food at home, and I had never had anything flavored with garlic before. It became my new foodie obsession...🤣🤣🤣
