PS: I hated being on a cruise myself.

@WillaKissing Why?

@karysma Confined to a very small room I paid good money to be in, and I paid for an upgraded room at that. Crammed on a ship with a couple thousand other people and no place to have private time/space other than you cramped cabin. Eating and the activities aboard the ship were nice, but out of boredom eating you gained 10 plus pounds in a week. If you missed a time at a port, you were left and the ship sailed without you leaving you to buy a plane ticket home or to the next port if you could. The big bill at the end of the cruise and I felt like I had not taken a vacation but a cramped over fed boat ride at the end.
I spent 27 years crammed into places with hundreds or thousands of people in the Army, and I do not want that ever again. I was the Ex-wife's idea not mine to take a cruise. On the seven-day cruise she only came out of the cabin for port calls to eat, and the last night on the ship. So, that added to my dislike of a cruise too. Felt alone.
Not for me.
