It's my birthday today, and it's my 40th.

I'm on holiday, in Spain with my 14 year old daughter. I bought a cake and candles as I want to blow candles on my cake. But my daughter is refusing to at least be involved in it. I feel I've been ignored and felt like I am nobody. I'm trying to ignore it, but she is the way she is because of her dad tolerating her behaviour.

Firstly, Happy Birthday 🎂 to you!!! It's your 40th birthday, a huge milestone! 👸You should be celebrated! 🥳
Secondly, your bratty 14 y/o should be ashamed of herself for treating you this way. Here u have taken her on a lovely vacation and I'm sure you provide for her every need and most of her wants.
She sounds llike an ungrateful little "B"!😡 I know what I'd fo if she were mine, but that's another topic.

@HappyCamper74 It's true. She's very ungreatful. The reason why I'm so upset is because she's the way she is, because her dad tolerated her behaviour to become the way she is, now.
I work my really hard to provide for her needs, but all I get is so much disrespectful attitudes all the time. It makes me cry all the time.

@Bittersweet84 I'm so sorry that she treats you that way. You're the mother though. If she makes you that unhappy send her to live with her day. Do not tolerate her disrespect.
