Getting ready for our holiday

We leave early on Sunday morning and have a long drive up north to take daughter to her gymnastics camp. The wife and I have a nice hotel booked for six nights for a little quiet time alone. Then we will pick up daughter and spend nine days walking and camping in North Wales.

Our 13 yo has already packed and re-packed her bags several times. She has 'paid' for the gymnastics through four months of washing the car and other household chores. She also has new leotards, new walking boots, and some books and magazines that my mother bought her. It is lovely and rewarding to see her so excited and enthusiastic😊
