Is going on vacation or out of town a good excuse to miss a college class?

I much prefer to go on vacation after the semester ends. My friend says I should come down and see her. I will but I gotta find a good day to do it. At my job we have fall break but I still have my class to attend and I can’t miss my classes. Plus plan tickets cost so much. Plus I paid for my class.

You are the only one who has the information to judge whether or not it is safe for you to miss class. And also the only person who knows what you can afford to spend! You posted the other day that your supervisor said they might break your contract.
