Another dull day
I'm feeling some major burnout.
I don't hate my job but I don't love it either. It's just a means to an end. Thankfully my boss is very lenient when it comes to what we're allowed to do as we work- I can listen to music with earbuds or watch tv on my phone. This makes the day pass by so much faster most days. My coworkers are chill for the most part, so we all leave each other alone and do our own thing. That part is nice.
I guess I'm burned out because I can only take a routine for so long before I'm dying to shake it up. The summers in Arizona are too hot to enjoy- everyone just stays home in the air conditioning. I've spent 7 months cooped up in this apartment, only ever leaving for work or grocery shopping. I'm bored.
Now that the weather is going to be cooling off a little, I hope I can do more things in the city- not necessarily expensive things, I'd be thrilled to just window shop, or hike on an easy mountain trail, or try a restaurant every now and then. Just anything to change up this monotony.
