Is it human nature or not?

Is it human nature or not for people to constantly be in pursuit of more, whether this be wealth, fame, power and a variety of different things material and immaterial.

I would say it is human nature to always want more. We chase and chase until we realize that what we needed was always right in front of us from the beginning...
