Dad didn't respond when I told him I'm pregnant

parents are divorced dad started a new family a long time ago. I'm married and stuff now, almost 30. Successful in my career - married to a great guy, he an attorney. We have our stuff together basically. My dad hasn't really reached out in over a year, I assume he's busy or whatever. Reached out for Father's Day just to say happy Father's Day. He asked how we were doing. Said good we just found out were expecting a kiddo. How about you? He never responded. :-/ anyone have similar situation ? How did you deal?

That is the way all my family are. They could care less what I achieve. If I happen to fail at something they all want to hear about that. My advice is to create you own family and not be bothered by how your dad it. I spent years feeling upset at my family. I achieves nothing.
