I can remember the days (giving my age away) when no stores were open on Sundays. Those days were spent visiting family, relaxing at home or going to a lake for a picnic. Much simpler time too!

@SweetMae: I remember those drives! mom always wanted to look at houses we could not afford. Dad would go look for all these out of the way places.

@SweetMae: We lived and I still do in the mountains. Mom wanted to go toward the city but Dad did the driving so we went where he drove. In the summer we would often end up where there was water to enjoy a picnic and maybe swim.

@nudewalker: We did that a lot too. I remember the ice cold stream of New Hampshire on fall mornings.
