Chewing aloe is pretty common. Potato juice is weird though. Most people ferment it into vodka first.

One of the more bizarre things I eat regularly is raw jellyfish, and roasted hedgehogs.

@BlueMetalChick: raw jellyfish...eeerr...how would you cook it???
BlueMetalChick · 31-35, F
@ThingsSheDoesntKnow: You don't cook it lol you slice it up and marinate it in citrus juice like mango.

@BlueMetalChick: so what's the point of eating it any health benefits

@BlueMetalChick: Hedgehog? How could you Blue? 🤤

@rottenrobi: It used to be commonplace to eat hedgehogs in most of western Europe like France and Germany about 450 years ago. Nowadays, hedgehogs are only eaten by Gypsies, like me.

@ThingsSheDoesntKnow: I don't know the health benefits of it. I just eat it because it tastes good.

@BlueMetalChick: taste like chicken?
BlueMetalChick · 31-35, F
@rottenrobi: To be honest, it tastes more like duck.

@BlueMetalChick: wow, yummy.

@rottenrobi: It is against the law to eat hedgehogs here in the USA and so we have to buy them illegally from the Chinese market. Needless to say, I don't have them very often. It's kind of a special tradition thing for my sister and I. We roast a platter of hedgehogs on someone's birthday or for Thanksgiving, like a special occasion dish.
