What did you do for your 21st birthday?

Got drunk. Because:
1. My parents had decided a 21st party should include mostly relatives, including my aunt who brought some of HER friends along
2. I figured it was about time i got drunk once in my life, given the legal drinking age here is 18
3. The two friends of mine who actually showed up were kind enough to drag me to a pub and pay for drinks.

I was away working.
Last birthday I celebrated was my 18th.
And even that one I funded myself as my folks didnt think it worth celebrating.
I took a bunch of friends to the West End and we went clubbing.

Why?

I drank by myself. Not to celebrate or anything. I was an alcoholic back then and my birthday happened to fall in the middle of an 8-day bender I was on. I had an acquaintance that worked at a grocery store, so I would have him "check" my ID and let me buy booze before I was 21

GOT LAID. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Just kidding. ;(

had been drinking in the military for 3 years...3.2 beer since 16,
booze since 18....stayed sober...and enjoyed it

I had a beer with some coworkers. I didn't drink back then, but it was a nice thought so I tried it.

Haven't gotten there yet. Hopefully, I never make it anyways. 😒

Went to a resort with 3 girls for the weekend. Great time.

I ended up in an ambulance with my aunt and grandma.

Probably worked. I wasn't much fun in my 20's.

Went to an Anne Murray concert.

Celebrated

Hmm. Given that's over 32 years ago a bit hazy. I was at college so went in as normal. Lunchtime headed to the pub. Drank way too much. Smoked something. Ended up at a college friends house with her mother most concerned about me. I'd lost most of my clothes by then too. I used to just shed them when I drank and got hot in those days. She got me home to an unhappy girlfriend.

I got drunk af overseas, and it was awesome...until the room spun, and stuff...and things...🤢

Are you serious?! I remember what I did on my 22nd,23rd,24th and 25th birthday but I can't fuckin remember what happened when I turned 21. xD That probably means it was fun though.🤔
