Is American hard to translate to other languages ?

Americaneze can be rather hard to translate. Besides the Homonyms (ever gave a date to your date?), Americaneze contains many idioms. While the words of an idiom may translate, the intent may not (like snot through a goose). Since Americans are a tad lazy and their Americaneze shows it. If they can't spell 'through' correctly they simply shorten it to 'thru' and call it a new word. Of course, having spent 14 years in school trying to learn it, I could care less about it.

@Nimbus: Many countries pronounce it Zed. Somehow "I'm tired, guess I'll grab me a few zeds before dinner" just doesn't sound right.

@Nimbus: Oh, I could make it rhyme using zed. Might have to use a different tune than 'Twinkle twinkle little star' though (I'm thinking perhaps a nice Pink Floyd tune).
