Has your opinion changed about United Airlines after the incident?

Nope. Still a pretty crappy airline..

The guy was removed from the plane initially and then ran back onto it and refused to leave. I don't really think this is an important incident.

@Pinkrainbowkisses: Bad things happen to stupid people
@Goralski: For god's sake he got off the plane.. THEN ran back on. He was acting like an idiot..
there's even video of it. I don't agree with the amount of force they used though.

@Pinkrainbowkisses: he sort of was dragged off ....and funny how he was allowed to get back on

I'd still fly with them... no problem.. actually im more apt to fly with them now since they deal with losers in a hurry instead of just sitting there holding the rest of the passengers up

NO - he was a convicted felon and they have every right to take him off the plane - David Doa was convicted of a felony - but avoided prison time - because he was giving the man prescription drugs in return for gay sex

What does his past have to do with it? He was a paying passenger. So now this is how airlines go the extra mile to dig up your past to justify them kicking you off a plane? The kind of smokescreen they try to create now speaks of the desperation they try to get things under control. This is an issue of corporate greed. Plain and simple.

@waleskinder: I wonder if it makes Americans shudder. The psychiatrist that you saw last week for depression, the porn that you watched last night...Big Brother is watching. Hahahahaha. Land of the free.

He did get off.. but he ran back on. That's even on video which they're not showing.. I only seen it once when this first happened.

@RedSonya: He's literally acting like a little school girl running through the aisle. I don't agree with the amount of force they used though.. but he's not innocent himself.

To be fair, their mistake was in not using common sense to sanity-check how their customers would react to getting booted off a flight. Doesn't mean they didn't screw up majorly, but all the violence that followed was really the fault of the security people involved. If anything, it's a condemnation of the entire airline industry than United Airlines specifically.

My opinion on United will always be that it's a shitty airline, regardless of whatever the internet created the incident into.
