You realize death in your dream means a rebirth... I could be complelty wrong here. But I'd guess the joy comes from the idea of an extreme changing in your waking life.

They don't tell your future. They don't tell u what you don't already know. They aren't mystical or spiritual. But they are connected to our subconscious. An play on symbolisms we learn in society.
It's intersting. I thought the same. But read a book or two on it. Just make sure they are written by psychologists.
