It's not the education system that makes them stupid, most people are just dumb. I'd say I'm intelligent and I went through the same system.

@Jackaloftheazuresand: As someone who's currently in the education system, I disagree. I'm not even a bad student, but I still disagree. I'm lucky to be going to a good school but a lot of the stuff that kids are learning 'round these parts is just...no.

My teachers would outright criticize the subjects they teach and tell students they were, "Too smart not to believe in God." Note that I didn't say the education system is good, I just don't fault it for the stupid I encounter.

@Jackaloftheazuresand: That's true. The reason I'm not completely idiotic is because of how I was raised. I think everyone has the potential to be at least mildly intelligent if they are raised for that sort of lifestyle, but if you were brought up like an idiot you can't blame the system for being an idiot, I suppose.
