Hm. Interesting thing to ponder. For every horror we comprehend and are capable of, our sentience makes us capable of such comprehension of beauty. There is more that is wonderful than we can possibly comprehend. I tend to think the average person is basically decent, just trying to get from one day to the next. We are built with empathy in order to affect cooperation. We are stronger together.
