Reminds me of that post that said "Yes, Gary with a high school diploma. Akhmed the neurosurgeon is totally stealing your jobs."

Hopefully you can see beyond the meme to the truth...

@GeniUs: There's truth to it, of course, it's not so black and white. Both sides of that argument have validity. It also depends on which country you're in. In my homeland, we haven't got these issues because most people don't aspire to emigrate to Serbia in search of a job.

That is one of my issues with unbridled migration, if a Serbian can work in the UK for twice the money that they would earn in their homeland then (most) would. Therefore this must create a shortfall in Serbia, remove a job from the UK market and allows employers to pay a reduced rate for work.
Back to the meme does anybody complain about neurosurgeons taking jobs? Apart from other neurosurgeons of course.

@GeniUs: People do but usually it's nobody who has an actual grasp of these problems. It's the loudmouths who see shit on the telly and go blast their mouth off about it.

I ignore these people and I know many of them (and some of them are my friends) and only engage with people who are willing to discuss matters reasonably. The problem with memes is that some people take them as a valid argument and although there may be a half truth in them it does not make a genuine argument.

@GeniUs: Yeah, memes are meant for humor. Usually it's loosely based on a true point but exaggerated or oversimplified to be funny.
