I have a couple of times, it was fun but only for a couple minutes. My dads gf has a horse and my babysitter trained them professionally. they are like a part time job, I would recommend thinking long and hard before hand. They are very cool though if you have the time and money.

I only got the job because I wrote a hand written letter to the owner of the school explaining my love for horses and how I would give anything to work with them.
He was so impressed that I had such a drive that he offered me that deal and I of course accepted it.
So I rode my bike there after school every single day. 🙂

Yes, when I was younger, I owned four horses. I would compete in English and Western horse shows.....green hunter jumping.....those days were so great!.....I was usually the only male, at my barn.....fond memories....🙂......It took so much money with the trucks, trailoring,vets, expenses, etc......I gave it up about ten years ago, after my Father passed. I have rode horses, since I was a young teenager🙂

Not a propper horse. As I never rode on a horse before they gave me a little littlr horse that was about to drop me when hiking on the stones. 😰

A few times. The last time with a guide and a few other people and it was horrible. My horse didn't play well with others and their were others. LOL

@1GHOST: They did too. LOL. He fought with two of the other horses one time jumping and kicking the one in the belly. Wild ride with that one. They actually told ME .. to keep my distance from the rest LOL.

Yes, in 8th grade.. it wasn't what I expected (I expected to be a jockey, cowgal, etc).. I was just plain terrified!

Umm I sat on one while someone else dragged it. Hated every single second of it because when I got off the horse, my bum was bruised to a point I couldn't walk straight for days.
