Why do people fail to realize that bc man is flawed, and science is based on man made experiments it can also be flawed and biased?

I feel like people treat science as if it is another religion but for science atheists or something.

(Also, i'm a real science geek but i'm religious, and I can acknowledge science can be biased)

Science is not based on experiments. Science applies to nature. Man's understanding of the world is based on the results of scientific experimentation.

Is science not based on scientific method? Isn't observation part of wanting to be able to recognize and understand nature? Nature surrounds us, however, science isn't nature itself, science is understanding/observing nature by a man. Science is a man made tool after all. Believe me, i'm for science, but it is not absolute

@offingg: The scientific method is a human's way of observing and attempting to understand things in nature. Science is not man made. Were it man made, then humans would be able to control it. We'd be able to change the way things like physics, chemistry, and mathematics work. But we can't. Science, like nature, existed before humans did.

@BlueMetalChick: Wait, I think we're on the same page but i'm not able to deliever what i'm trying to say. I'm not discrediting science at all, my major includes a whole lot of science and is science based. I definitely believe in the power of science. What i'm saying here, people are suddenly thinking that they can not critque science, nor question it, when that *is* the essence of it entirely. Some people dare not even think that some theories can be flexible. This can hinder the progression of science, bc all scientific theiries are set for improvement or even alteration but people seem to forget that, do you get what i'm saying?

Also, science is the STUDY of nature, not nature itself. Thus, man can control the study of science, thus it is man made.
