yeah, but on the other side of the gully is a raspberry field, i'm pretty sure they mostly stuck around there

@reubles: That raspberry field would be extremely rare or non existent around here, we dont even have blackberries anymore😞

they sprout up like weeds after a stand is cleared. which is a great thing for the rabbit and bird populations. but they also are a safe haven for wasp nests

@reubles: do you get many birds in a pine forrest like that? Ive been into a few before and was surprised how silent they were

yep, all kinds. sparrows will even swoop at you when you're on break. not to mention all the ravens and partridge. the occasional osprey and eagle, red tailed hawks, grey and blue jays, hairy woodpeckers, regular woodpeckers, and many other birds.
