What factors contribute to a love being considered "true" or "lasting," despite ending or never fully materializing?

Have you ever been involved in a jury deliberation where opinions were divided? How did you manage to reach a consensus?
I have face blindness, and due to this, people have no attractive qualities at all to me. I don't perceive specific faces as pretty because they all look bland and similar. How does romantic attraction work in people who perceive faces normally?
