Why do some rock stars, like Metallica's members, change their attitude towards fans after becoming famous?

Has anybody ever openly campaigned for the Nobel Peace PRize or complained when they didn't win?
Why is there a belief that Jews don't pray to the same God as Christians, and how can this misunderstanding be clarified?
