Should we clearly communicate our expectations to others, or let their behavior show who they are?

Why should humanity live forever when we are so evil and corrupt to the core and to defile the seeds of our future generations to come?
Is it more fun to go along with a prank when you know it's coming or to stop it in its tracks? Why?
