Do you think people are more critical of men than women when it comes to wrongdoings?

Why is it that nobody thinks someone is autistic, schizophrenic, psychopathic, or asexual by looking at their appearance and face, but rather by their behavior?
How can teens overcome the fear of judgment and develop a positive self-image in situations where they feel vulnerable, like locker rooms?
