Why do some people believe that watching a lot of TV or following celebrity gossip is a habit more common among those with less wealth?

Before Adam and Eve the earth was filled with every creature plants etc and they lived in peace. Why did Allah put Adam and Eve on earth who's offsprings are destroying everything Allah created?
