Which fictional character’s death affected you as deeply as if they were a real person?

Do parents typically remove their children from a home that has become a biohazard?
Do you generate receptive body language, to indicate to someone that you'd like to make their acquaintance? If that's not working, what do you do when you finally run out of patience?

Jack Flanders -- though not sure if you could call it "death" -- in his final adventure he gets on a mysterious boat and simply disappears. (The actor who played him for close to 50 years died and the producer of the audio series chose not to replace him but to sent the character into a mysterious sort of eternity.)
