Have you ever fallen out of love with someone for a reason that felt embarrassing to admit?

How can I know whether I'm intelligent or not? I feel like I can't pick a side for this question. Like a pendulum going back and forth even the smallest mistake makes me question everything I've thought of myself and wonder whether it was a delusion.
