How can I distinguish between genuinely helping others with my energy and being taken advantage of by energy vampires?

From my earliest memory, I’ve been in and out of trauma states, not realising. It felt totally normal. Now, I can see things more clearly, it’s coming together. But how do I get my real self to come out and not freeze, disappear again? Frustrating!
