What are some subtle ways that highly intelligent individuals communicate their ideas and knowledge without being overly talkative?

Right now, I feel like there's an elephant on my chest, my throat constricted, breathing is hard, I feel very frightened. I can't go back to look at the trigger words to find another interpretation. Why? I'm too scared to look at them again.
How do the natural aging processes, like changes in memory and emotional well-being, affect someone with Asperger's differently than those without the condition?
