Does having seen real-world trouble make it easier to stay calm when your partner is upset about something small?

Why do women hang up after seeing my face on a video chatting app? They make a face that reflects huge disinterest and they hang up immediately. I want to talk to a woman on a video call, but it seems impossible on these video chat apps?
I'm 19, I have zero desire to post my life on social media or be social. I just want to live a peaceful solitary life. Is this normal?
