When will the people of the world realise we are one people on one world and are wasting so much time and energy fighting?

Is it just me or most people? With everything happening in the world right now, I do not care whether a god exists, neither does it have any practical impact on how I live my life.
What was the point of having the good guys defeat the bad guys in every famous movie or movie series, if in real life, evil prevails over good every single time and we’re stuck in the worst of all possible timelines?
