Why does my guy start being disrespectful to me after I took him to my hometown?

I have no intentions of making anyone uncomfortable. I’m only talking about a guy who actually did this and I am posting this so he will leave me alone. What should I do?
Why do I get a sense of pride being standoffish and unfriendly to people yet only to realize that I am hurt deep down and pushing people away?
