What will happen if someone doesn't show up to Donald Trump's event without a trophy for him?

Why do people claim that "fat shaming" doesn't work? I was personally shamed into losing 50 lbs of disgusting repulsive blubber and now am at my idea BMI. Isn't that PROOF POSITIVE that shame CAN be an effective motivator?
