There was a lot of clothes-changing that went on in the locker rooms I used. When I was very young there was naked communal showering, but no one looked at anyone else. The most recent locker rooms I've used had private showers.
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I used to participate in many classes at the Y but there were certain hours when only men or boys could use the pool, when they had nude swimming.
