There was a lot of clothes-changing that went on in the locker rooms I used.
When I was very young there was naked communal showering, but no one looked at anyone else.
The most recent locker rooms I've used had private showers.

@Poppies The YMCA used to have nude swimming pools. That was another era. Public nudity is now dated and outre.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I used to participate in many classes at the Y but there were certain hours when only men or boys could use the pool, when they had nude swimming.

@DrWatson Is there a difference? Some of the locker rooms I've been in seemed like porn. I remember one guy in college who used to lather himself in the shower like he was putting on a show.
