I just saw on the news how some anti-fascist professor who was about to fly to Spain to live got detained at the airport. What would happen if President Trump jailed him for life for anti-fascism?

I do not believe that would happen at all.

Though IF it did it would show the President of the United States of America demonstrating to the world that he has the power to over-ride the nation's legal and judicial processes affecting its citizens, simply for their political views.
