I always make certain that I live on high ground.
¾ of this city would have to be flooded out completely and I would still have a way out to higher ground. I have a mountain behind me.
We had flash floods last year and I wasn't affected. Whole roads and bridges got washed away.
This part of the valley got cut off from the other part.

I have a generator and a bunch of jerry cans that I would fill as the disaster approached. Flooding around here is rarely a surprise. Hopefully gasoline deliveries would resume as the flood waters receded before I ran out.
