Can someone with an average IQ really become a creative genius, like Edison, and what traits are most important for achieving that?

If you want to be like Edison you need to hire a few hundred people to do that actual work, put all the patents in your own name, hire thugs to intimidate anyone infringing on your patents, and electric an elephant on film to show people how electrocution works after experimenting on various neighborhood cats and dogs.
