What do you love the most about a single life (not being in a relationship or married)?

I want to be with my ex again and he doesn't trust me, but I will do whatever it takes to gain his trust back. What can you advise me?
I'm a male married to a guy for about 30 years but I realized I prefer to be with a woman that I really love (genuine one). Is it right for me to get a divorce and live life very happily?
