What are the reasons behind people being afraid to explore or accept things beyond their scientific and religious beliefs?

I don't like people. I don't like socializing. I'm extremely genuine who doesn't like fake smiles, sugarcoated words. And I don't like people because of their nature. How do I step into the real world from my basement?
