If my family members don’t like me or respect me, why do they need to be around my kids?

What is the point of living? People at least have things to look forward to like a partner or friends, but I don't have any of those. What’s the point?
How does age and long life change a person's mental outlook and attitude, or does it? Some say complainers have always complained. Is that true?
