Do narcissists ever genuinely miss the people they've hurt, or is it all about missing the control and attention they used to get?

Does Trump use his big mouth and bluster to cover up the fact with his supporters that he's basically incompetent to be President, and arguably hasn't even really been a competent businessman? Is Trump, in fact, an imposter?
