How do you deal with someone who continuously undermines you in group settings?

Have you noticed that narcissists hide your things and then they pretend to find them? I've tried telling myself I'm imagining it but it happens too often.
How can I present myself as a confident and discerning woman in the dating world to attract the right kind of partner?
