When audiences are targeted, are politicians searching for the brightest or something else?

I’ve just started my own company in Dubai. My wife is working as a director of her own entity in India. Shall I apply for sponsored visa to her? I’m gonna become NRI, but she should not become an NRI as she runs her own entity.
