But like everything else it must come to an end. 😐 Tok is perhaps the most influential social media network ever created. 🛜 Unfortunately we found out too much information and that made some of the powers that be feel a bit uncomfortable. If you are a citizen of the USA then you are aware of this news. 🗞 As of January 19 2025 , the app will be no longer be accessible to the general public. Or will it. Hmmmm. Never used Tik-Tok. I've never been a vlogger or video content creator so it has no appeal to me. I use Ewechoob but normally on my main PC (a rugged laptop not android or ios device) and I have ad and script blockers installed to block all of YT's ads.
I’m not on it so it doesn’t matter to me. I did set up an account so I could watch a couple of shorts on a true crime I’m following but then I deleted it
@Zonuss ok ill continue to not use it. Its not realistic to "ban" part of the internet; anyway. Unenforcable. And itd waste so much money effort and time to do so. But the precedent of prohibition which started with alcohol and failed. Is still in effect federally for marijuana so the concept of banning something to uphold morals is still a principle being upheld.
