Have u ever quit a job before? ⚒ ⌚ 💰

Greetings. How are you guys doing today?
I wanna know how many of you ever quit a job before. I have. It was due to poor management and very toxic behavior in the work place. I stayed for a few months and then that was that. 🙄 What about you? Have you ever quit or walked out on a job before. Why. Best answer wins. ☺ 🔨

Yes have quit two jobs in my years never just left always gave notice ! Left both jobs due to bullying, under staffed and not appreciated welcome to the world of nursing.

@Beautywithin Nursing can be stressful at times. But it's a good field to be in overall.

Yes. It's too complicated and time consuming to tell but in short I was only there 4 weeks when it happened. I work QA/QC and was presenting a product to a customer. There was much activity going on around me which made me and the company look bad. He left and gave the company a bad report which the owner without knowing what really happened put on me. I went home and typed an email sent to him and all others in management positions that I quit and this company was a disgrace to for. Five days later I was called in for a meeting. They said I was too talented to lose and offered me a 25% raise to stay. I reluctantly did because my type of jobs were not that plentiful at the time.

Yep, and for the same reasons, plus the regional boss flew in to tell me they didn't appreciate me calling them out on their bad management. By that point I'd had enough, so I tossed her the office keys and said adios.

I must admit the expression on her face was priceless... laughed all the way downstairs and halfway home.

@Ontheroad Cool.

I quit at Arby’s mid shift . My friends came in, I jumped over the counter , threw my apron back and said I quit . (This was after I had already saved enough for my first new surfboard ).

@AthrillatheHunt Interesting. 🤔

I guess I put in my resignation, but that was because I was going back to school, there were no hard feelings.

I'm usually a good employee and I don't quit unless giving 2 weeks notice for another better opportunity.

I did quit McDonald's when I was 18 on the spot because I didn't want to come in that day and all my friends were doing senior end of the year stuff and I had forgotten to take off so I just quit. I asked if I could call out having never been late nor called out and the dumb supervisor said no so I had to quit

The second time I walked out of a restaurant because the restaurant said I owed them money which was crazy. Both when I was very young.

@REMsleep Oh how time and age teaches us things. ☺
