Thank you. It's weird how failure could be a comfort zone and yet it's also understandable if you look at those who are creatures of habit.
@OWise1: Exactly! They stay stuck because sometimes depression freezes their thoughts and they feel immobilized. Given their low self-esteem and low confidence, they become "comfortable" with the familiar. They don't [i]want[/i] to fail, but the depression gets the best of them to where they cannot see anything else, nor can they focus on better alternatives.

Absolutely. I think people create drama out of insecurity and boredom. I'm a self harmer, always will be probably. I need physical pain.

All the time. Or in my case, if things are going too good, I get scared something horrible is about to happen.
