My last doctor ALWAYS Googled my symptoms and what to do about them - right there in the examination room! My current doctor at least has the courtesy to google them outside the examination room (but he still Googles 'em).
They ask me what over-the-counter remedies I take and that includes herbs...I think they should check for side effects or whatever in those cases and they may not have the information stored in their brains.
@cherokeepatti: My last doctor always Googled the side affects to the drugs he prescribed me. He was actually a very good doctor. Sadly he retired and now I'm stuck with a clinic doctor.
